Facts Breakdown

Quick facts on the industry.

Why study Leadership

Leadership is a critical component of every industry, and effective leaders help power successful organizations from the C-Suite down to entry-level positions. Yet, studies have shown that the most common skills gaps identified by employers are core leadership abilities. This program was created to specifically teach skills employers are looking for in the workplace, but the lessons from this program transcend the classroom or workplace into everyday life.

Empirically driven

Much of popular literature around leadership and collaboration lacks academic rigor. This program focuses on ensuring that the lessons taught to students are backed by sound research.

Force multiplier

This program is intended to provide students with vital interpersonal, decision-making and self-actualization skills, thereby acting as a force multiplier upon a student’s more technical competencies. The program encourages students to double major - allowing them to acquire more specific job skills while simultaneously providing them with a stronger liberal arts foundation.
